TALIMUSIC Natalia Sheppard Auckland One of the most prolific MC's to come out of Drum and Bass in the last ten years, Tali's ability to freestyle and sing soulful, positive and intelligent vocals over the mix, has seen her stay top of her game. She has won a NZ music Award, had a UK top 40 hit, won three Drum and Bass awards, released five studio albums, and toured the world extensively as both an MC and live act. Originally from a Dairy Farm in Taranaki, Tali moved to the UK in 2001 to follow her dreams of becoming a top international MC. After signing to the legendary Full Cycle Label owned and run by Roni Size, Tali went onto to release the first ever DnB MC album 'Lyric on my Lip' with an accompanying worldwide tour. From here she collaborated with some of the scene's most prolific names in both production and DJ/MC shows. Her most recent album - the award winning 'Love & Migration' (2019) was released on Fokus Records (Netherlands) and was her first DnB album in seven years. It went to number 3 in the Beatport DnB Charts and was number 5 in the NZ Electronic charts. Tali is the go to MC for New Zealand DnB legends The Upbeats, Chiccoreli of The Liquid Lowdown, House and Techno DJ/Producer Aroha, and Integral Records label boss DJ Emma G. Because of this she is a regular on the club and festival circuit throughout NZ.
