Takkra david vigh Heliopolis Morning Prayer The song is about the infinite abundance and joy one discovers when surrendered to the true inner essence. The sound attempts to capture that ecstatic moment of eternal peace, cosmic truth, the new dawn of transformation. The creation of Morning Prayer has been a collaboration between the Takkra crew and the Hungarian producer Cord. Synth lines, vocal melodies, bass lines have been swapped around, inspired other parts and fuelled the creative process throughout, resulting in two extraordinary mixes. The genre is an eclectic blend of world bass, psyfolk, drawing from Hungarian folk heritage, but still remaining true to both parties’ strong psychedelic roots. The fourth Takkra album "Inner Horizons" is a cosmic, yet very personal piece of work. It provides an uplifting audible backdrop for being present, searching for connection to the divine spark within and to the collective consciousness around us. The discovery of inner horizons which mysteriously coincide with the external ones is an ecstatic experience. The realisation of where we really stand in a universal context is both enlightening and soothing. At that magical moment, the hermetic truth unfolds: “That which is above is like that which is below, and that which is below is like that which is above..” This genre bending mini album was written and produced in a popup studio during a few months on Lanzarote in early 2021. Inspired by the endless horizons, rugged landscapes, the strong presence of elemental forces and sacred geometry patterns carved into everything from vast skies to the smallest volcanic stones. The ever changing mural of this magical island holds real healing powers… The constant sense of infinity instils an awakening effect on one’s consciousness and it is an antidote for common neurosis and lack of self love. Inner Horizons is a collection of lullabies for awakening. Soundscapes designed to deepen the human experience. Additional tracks were recorded at Takkra’s home studio in Szentendre, Featuring Máté Kocsis on drums, Matyi Mohácsi on bass, Juli Szomráky and Molek Keri on vocals. Mundo Loco was co-written and keys played by Mr Dure. Produced, mixed and mastered by David Vigh.
