Tokyo
Born in March 1988 to a jazz pianist father and a mother who loved classical music, he grew up surrounded by music from an early age. His father's room was a soundproof studio filled with a grand piano, drum set, double bass, and various other instruments. As a child, music was always close to him. In elementary school, he wrote poems inspired by Kenji Miyazawa, and during a parent-teacher meeting, his teacher read one aloud, moving the parents to tears a story that became somewhat of a legend.
In his teenage years, after giving up on soccer, he was introduced by a friend to Japanese rap, which was popular at the time. Deeply struck by its social messages, he began writing his own lyrics and performed raps in front of friends. It was then he felt, This is what I was meant to do,and set his sights on becoming a rapper.
He began performing live as a rapper in clubs around Tokyo in 2007. When he sent his first self-produced CD to his longtime idol VOLTA MASTERS, his talent was recognized, leading to his debut album LIFETRAVLE 2017 released from Revolution Recording.
That same year, he joined B.S.C CREW, a collective of artists from around the world. The song Borderless, produced with 2RABU and Y2d, was played on a London radio station. The following year, he released Nice 2 Beat U 2018,followed by a six-city nationwide tour Tokyo, Yokohama, Iwate, Shizuoka, Kyoto, Osaka. In the same year, he founded his own label, Good Bless Music Ent. and released his third album OLD TR3E 2021. The lead track Ashita ni Kaeru feat. DJ TAIJI Prod. DJ WHITESMITH received airplay on terrestrial TV channel TVK’s Ongakukan, USEN, and FM Yokohama, drawing attention particularly in Kanagawa.
His music often features jazzy tones, ranging from gentle tracks that express love to powerful songs that evoke inner strength. He raps with a smooth flow and solid rhymes, delivering a wide spectrum of messages. He also handles everything from beat production to mixing and mastering by himself, known for his exceptional speed in producing music.
With a dream of traveling the world, he is set to hold his first concert in Paris on September 30, 2025, at La Mazane, alongside his trusted producer NaBs.
