She was lucky enough to grow up in New York City in the 90s when it was a total free for all and the music was amazing. And you could be like, 13 years old going on 27 and spend all night in Limelight getting high on Shirley Temples and dancing your ass off. As a kid she was obsessed with recording music off the radio, and later started tinkering with record-playing on 1200s when she was a student in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She somehow remembers her first real gig taking place a few years later at a gallery opening in Chelsea sometime in early 99. Since that time Sylvie has worn many hats as a mom and in the DJ biz, throwing parties, playing and creating music all over the world. She has put down roots in Berlin, Bali and now CDMX.
