Cold Water by Swimness published on 2013-01-17T00:59:57Z This is a two minute sound piece that was part of my live art performance "Launch" for "Winter Shorts" at Live Stock 11.01.13. The 5 minute performance was the launch of my acclimatization program to be able to swim in the frozen sea in Estonia in March. The audience all held ice cubes whilst listening to this sound piece before launching 10 buckets of water at me to finalize the Launch. The sound bites are taken from found youtube interviews from Lewis Gordon Pugh and Lyne Cox both well respected expert athletes and leaders in cold water endurance and ice swimming.
