SUPERDARK Zürich The name Superdark contrasts the music and the artwork created by the band. Silent scenes follow loud ones, heavy moments follow tender ones. The sonic and visual spectrum is inspired by dreams, contradictions and the surreal. Influenced by psychedelic and alternative rock the music is defined by lush synth pads, reverb-drenched guitars, progressive structures and melancholic-sarcastic lyrics. Creative independence is very important for the band members, which is why they try to take matters in their own hands when it comes to recording, artwork and visuals.
