Currently based out of Baltimore, the band released its debut self-titled EP in November 2015 and two follow-up singles in 2016. The band’s music has since received regular airplay on Baltimore’s WTMD radio station (which recognized the band with a Top 89 Songs of 2016 award) and has been featured on multiple official Spotify playlists. In February of 2017, Spinnin’ Records released a remix of their song “Intimacy” by Belgian melodic house act Curtis Alto, and in September, Sunbathers released "Honeysuk." In 2018, Sunbathers released "Heart of the Night" & "The Deep End", and made their festival debut at Firefly Music Festival.
