Sugar Rum Tantrum Los Angeles Sugar Rum Tantrum is a stompfolk quartet helmed by splashy accordionist Melinda West. This folk-mischief-rambunction will invade your sonic space with a spicy tango or a biting blues; or we'll simply sing about robots falling in love. The band has been recently performed at Eagle Rock Musical Festival, Women Fuck Shit Up Fest, Beatle Fair SD, Hard Rock Hotel, and SD Gypsyfest. In 2016, they released their first EP and started regionally touring there after. In 2017 Melinda spent the holidays playing accordion for Disney World, and is excited to commence recording the band's second EP in 2018.
