The 001st of weekly Mix show of Suburban Avenue.

Nico Campanella was born in Putignano (Italy). His first approach with the world of music came at the age of 11 when he started to study piano. Shortly after, thanks to his great devotion and deep passion for everything concerned the music, he was called from different local bands.

After many years of experiments and explorations with sounds, he decided to start the project with the alias Phase I, focused on deep and atmospheric grooves. With the purpose of extending his music thoughts he started another project as ‘Kaelan’, focused on Detroit-Dub techno side.

He has always been influenced by great artists such as Basic Channel,Robert Hood, Substance et Vainqueur, Derrick May,Steve Rachmad,Carl Craig, Jeff Mills and many others.

At the moment he’s collaborating with some of the most known techno italian and european labels such as Construct Re-form, CLFT, Monnom Black and his own label Subosc.

Next Suburban Mix by UNCODE will be out on Wednesday, the 22nd of June
