it's like no one could create cool music so we embraced what was available and that was vaporwave which is really an offshoot of 80s music, only many times slowed down, nonetheless I don't want to strive towards any generations nostalgia except my own and perhaps that;s the case here. Cat hasn't lived long enough to say "I was there" "I experienced that". So i can see how soundcloud fans are easily blinded with decent music but certainly nothing to write home about! Shit, when I was a kid there were cool fucking groups with thematic and political ideas which were brought through their original ideas, and the lack of original ideas is a real thing in 2022. HOw many trap songs will i hear? How many vaporwave beats ( of which i swear my daughter has a $11 keyboard that can create the same beat effortlessly. n
