Stonedrift Groove Metal Reggio Emilia Groove Metal Reggio Emilia/Modena ITA Gli Stonedrift si formano nel 2007 da un'idea di Max Marri alla batteria (voce di Dominance ed Unscarred Italian Pantera Tribute) ed Enrico Ascari alla chitarra .Dopo alcuni cambi di line up si uniscono alla band Oscar Lanzoni al basso (ex Sette Note in Nero) e Matteo Gazzi alla voce ( ex Thunderbomber),con i quali incidono il primo demo "The smell of Sweat Smoke and Alcohol" nel 2010 e si esibiscono live in festival importanti a supporto di grandi personaggi come Freak Antoni all' Arci Tom di Mantova. Nel 2015 altro cambio di line up,con Emiliano Dalcomune alla voce, Luca Cigarini alla chitarra ritmica e Valerio Larcier al basso (ex Coffee Overdrive e Karmian). Comincia un'intensa attività live su diversi palcoscenici importanti tra date a supporto di band importanti come Rain o Cadaveria. Nel 2021 Enrico Ascari lascia la band ed entra Riccardo Soresina (Still It Burns). Primo EP "Mass Distruction Media" prodotto da Volcano Records & Promotions ENG Stonedrift was formed in 2007 from an idea of Max Marri on drums (vocals of Dominance and Unscarred Italian Pantera Tribute) and Enrico Ascari on guitar. After some line up changes, Oscar Lanzoni on bass (formerly Sette Note in Nero) and Matteo Gazzi on vocals (formerly Thunderbomber) joined the band, with whom they recorded their first demo "The smell of Sweat Smoke and Alcohol" in 2010 and performed live at important festivals in support of big names such as Freak Antoni at Arci Tom in Mantova. In 2015 another line up change, with Emiliano Dalcomune on vocals, Luca Cigarini on rhythm guitar and Valerio Larcier on bass (ex Coffee Overdrive and Karmian). They started an intense live activity on several important stages including dates supporting important bands such as Rain or Cadaveria. In 2021 Enrico Ascari left the band and Riccardo Soresina (Still It Burns) joined. First EP "Mass Distruction Media" produced by Volcano Records & Promotions.
