STEPNƗAK Belgrade Emerging from their everyday communication and sharing ideas on music and modular synthesizers, Jan Nemeček and Kӣr have joined their forces as STEPNƗAK. Combining their love of sub bass, drones and revolutions, STEPNƗAK distills their core sound aesthetics into a club-friendly but intense format that focuses on organic electronics and analog synthesis. Jan is in charge for the lucid and broken core techno rhythm sections and acid bass lines while Kӣr is responsible for the more natural touch – the samples, percussions and modal synthesis. Their first performance was at Drugstore in early 2017 as a special quadrophonic performance.
