Stef Berlin Stef is the solo project by the multi-instrumentalist Stefan Kreppel, former lead singer of Im Reich der Dinosaurier. Since 2008, he has released an album (S is for Sailing, 2009), a double EP (A good heart / And the courage it takes, 2012) and several singles. Currently preparing his upcoming EP, the singer and songwriter believes in the beauty of imperfection: his songs usually include weird unexpected chords. His main influences, such as Thom Yorke, Patrick Watson and David Bazan can be recognized in the dreamy atmosphere of his songs, which are sometimes accompanied by electronic beats. For Stef, these arrangements feel like travelling to a foreign galaxy in a second-hand spaceship.
