The first full-length Square Revolution album will be released on 30th October 2015 - a follow-up to the debut release, Quartet EP. Co-produced with Ian McDonnell (Eomac, Lakker), the self-titled Square Revolution album blends live instruments and electronic elements creating an ambient backdrop to Dave’s vocals. Square Revolution's music has received national radio exposure on stations such as RTE Radio 1, BBC Northern Ireland and Newstalk FM. Newstalk FM featured Square Revolution as an in-studio musical guest on their Arts & Culture show, “The Green Room”. A winner of the all-Ireland Slogadh music competition as a teenager, and an active composer and live performer since then, Dave Thomas continued his musical education via a Master’s degree in Music and Media Technologies at Trinity College. Square Revolution shows range from solo performances by Dave to full-band performances featuring a revolving line-up of guest musicians. Dave is a regular performer at the esteemed Ruby Sessions in Doyle’s of College Green and has also had the pleasure of headlining the evening. Square Revolution, in both solo and group mode, has also played in venues such as Whelan’s and The Sugar Club, as well as opening for renowned acts including The Cribs & Oliver Cole.
