CAPPUCCINO EXCELLENTE’ BRIGANTE’ –FLUSH THE THRONE EP

Southest Region (US)- "FLUSH THE THRONE!"(#FTT) is the EP follow-up to the LP Eddie Meeks presents Cappuccino’s Unauthorized Records. Cappuccino Excellente’ Brigante’ is the unequivocal and uncompromising voice of Meeks. FTT is a declaration about the state of Hip Hop and those responsible for the continual perpetuation of mediocrity. It is a mantra, a statement, a movement!( pun intended...). A digitally released 4 song EP. The title track dropped the opening night of the Jay-Z and Kanye West Watch the Throne tour in ATL and has been making it’s rounds on the underground Hip Hop circuit via internet, as has the timely follow-up single 100 Blunts.

FTT is a superlative balance of the sporting aspect of HIP HOP, EMCEEING --with a message, a purpose, a modicum of braggadocio, with a comedic delivery. Of this project Cappuccino says “Someone on the outside looking in may see me as a hater of some sort... and that's cool. However, nothing matters more than how I see myself. I see myself as someone who is not willing to accept these [bs] projects for what are promoted to be. I see myself as someone who is brave enough to speak out against this [f***ery] and all individuals involved.”

The outspoken wordsmith has been recording and releasing music for the better part of two decades and has toured with KRS-One as part of Prophetix. Having seen and learned what Hip Hop is from one of the most prolifically influential artists in the genre, Meeks ne’ Cappuccino has a firm grip on what Hip Hop culture has been and is and where he is in relation to it ”I'm cut from a cloth that is now considered obsolete by many but I'm willing to continue to put my pedigree on display where ever and whenever. I will never change! In this case, CHANGE IS FOR SUCKAZ!!!
