Dr. Miriam Lee (Burger) MD is a Medical Doctor specialized in Sound Medicine, Musician & SME Entrepreneur, at the intersection of music, health, and wellbeing. She founded Dr. Miriam Lee Burger - SOUND AND HEALTH, Switzerland, serving online & in-person.
Dr. Lee was part of the core team at the World Health Innovation Summit (United Kingdom) co-developing the U.N. Habitat SDG-Cities project and contributing to mandates for the WHO, Vatican, UN-Habitat a.o. on Sound Medicine, Mental Health and Wellbeing.
As a performer, composer & string arranger Dr. Lee follows her passion for improvisation, ambient, classical & pop-rock music. She received Russian-Georgian style training which laid the groundwork for her music career. She worked as a musician in NYC, L.A., Vienna, Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg in 2007 - 2017. Sonic Health and Sound Medicine became a growing part of her work over the years.
Dr. Lee currently works as a collaborator and consultant in Brain Health Tech and Health Systems Change.
