Even when it does not go that far, it remains a poetry of the chimerical and absurd-just as abstractionism often exhausts itself in a poetry of cipher and caprice, arbitrary and abstruse." -Renato Poggioli, THE THEORY OF THE AVANT-GARDE "Take one newspaper. Take one pair of scissors. Choose from the newspaper an article of the length desired for the poem you intend to write. Cut out the article. Next cut out with care each of the words forming that article. Next put them in a bag. Mix gently. Take out one by one each excision in the order they fall from the mag. Copy carefully. The poem will resemble you. Voila, there are, an infinitelyoriginal poet of a seductive sensibility, even if still not understood by the vulgar." -Tristan Tzara "What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other word would smell as sweet" Shakespeare, ROMEO AND JULIET "Who can deny? In dreams it touches the body, in thought constructs a miracle, in imagination anguishes till born in human- ..." Allen Ginsberg, SONG are my newborn aesthetic works on consciousness the original set is composed of 191 pieces, and the idea is that they sound one after the other. Interestingly, the space between each varies depending on the player (for instance, here in soundcloud, there is almost a second between each). The reason why I uploaded 19 instead of the 191 is that I got extremely frustrated with the "Upload Set" function of soundcloud, spending nearly 2 days in trying to sort it out. I'm not gonna get angry anymore, so I'll wait till they change the uploading methods. For a different effect, play all the pieces once, and then go back to the first one and play again (they'll play with a faster interval between each other). Funny to see that the length of the pieces is 00:00 - that's because some of them are as small as a single sample ;-) Another thing... my iPod won't play any of the songs... it can't reproduce such short spasms hehe Enjoy!
