The message of the Alive album is to live in the moment, for it is the only time that exists. A large portion of this album was written during the pandemic, and political turmoil of the world. Alive is a reflection of the need for gratitude of the current moment, enjoyment of what is, and the realization of the actions and steps needed to move through troubling times. This concept is depicted in the music as well as visually, the skull character represents the ever present reminder that death is inevitable for all of us. Our communal uniting fate.
