Snágora

We are an Andalusian band born in the middle of the first decade of the new century, our style draws from various influences and we greatly enhance the search for originality, our musical range ranges from Thrash passages to parts of melodic Hard Rock, we also have a certain touch of progressive and a great influence of classic Heavy Metal, our texts talk about social issues, personal or simply feelings. A demo recorded in 2006 in a homemade way, made us sound in local radios and took us to play in different Andalusian halls, as well as in diverse festivals; thanks to this demo we could also play with bands like María del mal, San Telmo or Leyenda. In 2012 we prepared a special concert in Malaga, where we did a tribute to Sangre Azul, this opened the doors of the Legends of Rock 2013, where we debuted in a national festival for the first time, there we repeated the tribute to the legendary band from Madrid sowing very good reviews among attendees and a certain echo in the specialized media. In 2015, we began recording our first professional work at the Artesonao studios in Malaga, which we titled "Larga espera"; (Long wait), an allusion to our long trajectory on stage without recording a single recording. The tracks were recorded by Paco Requena, and the mixing and mastering were done by Sergio Cascales, who made them at Tesla Records Studios in Guadalajara, Mexico. The launch of the work, is carried out afínales 2016 for all digital platforms simultaneously, as well as in physical format in a limited edition only available in the performances and on the Facebook page of the band. Our first work gives us the opportunity to appear in different specialized press and radio media, we do multiple interviews and get excellent reviews of our opera prima in the analysis, this opens the door to organize a tour that we call "It's over waiting";, takes us to travel much of the national territory, and places us as an emerging band at the state level, managing to play in important events and accompanying veteran bands of the national scene as Azrael, legendary bands such as the American Riot, or musicians like Leo Jimenez. In the coming months we have several closed dates and some pending confirmation in places such as Ceuta, Malaga, Cordoba or Granada, we will keep the recruitment open until this summer, when we plan to enter the studio to register our second job.
