SnackCat Snack Cat NYC Snack Cat is an exciting new band comprised of some of NYC's most respected young musicians. The bands sound is a cross between soul/rock/jazz/ blues and funk. . During there short time together Snack Cat has already played some of the cities top venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, Groove and The Bitter End. Snack Cat was also part of the 2015 CMJ music Marathon as well as the Newer Sounds 3 Year Anniversary Show. Snack Cat's members have attended the Nations top Conservatories such as The Manhattan School of music, The Peabody Conservatory, UNT and Eastman School of Music. The bands members have played many of the countries top venues including The Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, The Music Hall of Williamsburg, The Meadowlands, The Jazz Standard, Webster Hall, Summerfest, The Iridum, The Montreux Jazz Festival and Avery Fischer Hall. Their Vocalist, Alita Moses was also the winner of the 2014 Montreux jazz jazz vocal competition.
