- SLUGGER PUNCH -
SLUGGER PUNCH has become during the years a consolidated "Artists Guild", based on members from various countries (Italy, Japan and England). Precursors of the "AsianBeats" genre, the team introduces in 2018, the talented singer and Japanese artist, AI HISANO, starting a new project with a powerful and professional voice in their eclectically original genre without boundaries of style.
They are also known as the "Benriya" of electronic music, the concept created in the 90's by USHIO and materialized together with the skilled producer TheHATE in 2013, it saw the light in a first EP positively reviewed by big producers/Dj's in the world, it finally coming to life in exclusive collaborations, disparate musical productions,foreign compilations and dj-live sets with j-pop/k-pop, dubstep & DnB, always with a roster of popular Asian guests on stage and countless contaminations.
Promoted by the renowned duo of K-Ble Jungle (Eriko and Dj Shiru), many original songs, remixes and bootlegs have been produced, combining the two musical formations background.
SASORI and J (Jack Hollywood), session players and professional musicians, are the last new entries with high skills and different genres, the duo is based in Tokyo and UK.
G-CHAN, join the team as illustrator, event organizer, social manager and stage assistant to support future initiatives and projects.
BR3XAZ joins the team during the summer of 2018: Experienced videomaker and promising producer / dj of edm, complextro and chiptune style.
Long before the famous American EDM producers began to collaborate with Asian artists, the Slugger Punch were the underground precursors of a genre now very popular in the Comicons, which sees at the time young dj's follow them or emulate them. But for those who consider themselves a Nerd or Otaku worthy of the name, Slugger Punch is the undisputed founder.
