Skavlan/Ljungkrona Gothenburg On a clarinet and an accordion, the two musicians Larisa Ljungkrona and Sivert Skavlan meets, in a style of music dominated by fiddles and bagpipes. The Scottish music treasure is explored in detailed arrangements and with an intense melodic interplay between the two musicians. With their musical roots from the Nordic polska, French waltzes and modern Scandinavian jazz, new musical parameters are infiltrated into the traditional expression. Many of the songs are brought to Scandinavia by Larisa, after her several visits to Scotland / England, while other songs are composed by Sivert or Larisa. Common to all of them, is that they are strongly influenced by the Scottish folk music treasure.
