Jeremy Occhipinti, an international teacher and a passionate musician, has traveled around the world teaching and sharing his music with thousands of people. Growing up in a musical family in America - surrounded by music - as his father is a gospel singer/songwriter/preacher, Jeremy tagged along while his father played at churches, prisons and hospitals.
At eighteen, Jeremy attended his first big concert - Pink Floyd, which had a huge influence on his life, especially his music, opening his heart to the dream of performing.
Attending the Art of Living Course when he was twenty eliminated major health issues and unleashed his hidden creative talents. Jeremy began writing poetry and songs while teaching himself how to play guitar and piano. He never looked back.
During college, he performed his Sound in Silence concerts at many major universities in America, including Harvard, Georgia Tech and Columbia. His dreams of sharing his music have taken him to: Bali, Belize, Canada, China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand and most recently, Saudi Arabia where he taught kindergarten.
Jeremy has released three albums for the Art of Living Foundation: Sound In Silence (2005), Simply Satsang (2010) and Dancing Opposites (2014). Back To Taylor Town (2011), was his first all-English rock album. Jeremy is also a volunteer teacher with the Art of Living Foundation for the past fourteen years.
Jeremy will release Dancing Opposites in America this summer. He is also in the final editing stage for his first book, Ain’t That a Miracle: An Unlikely Journey Into Music &
Meditation. The book, along with a new Sanskrit/English album, Let Bhajans Be Bhajans, will be released at the end of 2015.
Jeremy is a true ambassador of celebration spreading his message of human values across the world through music.
