#HoldTheFloor Playlist by SimeonPeebler published on 2016-06-22T15:59:48Z Spent the better part of yesterday watching the Occupy-style protest on the floor of the House of Representatives, with an old-school sit in designed to bring about a vote on several gun issues. At one point, a spontaneous rendition of the song We Shall Overcome rang out over the House floor. Here are a select number of songs I wrote between 2011 and 2016 that fit in the category of "protest" music and are mostly in alignment with some of the frustrations and concerns. Some of these tracks are demos, one-takes, and others are studio recordings. Looking forward to releasing a new album soon to add a number of additional songs to this playlist.
