Podcast Pilot about the Creative Process by Signe Grauballe Mikkelsen published on 2021-09-13T13:32:38Z A yet-to-be named podcast featuring conversations with artists about how they do what they do. Can artists help us understand and engage with the creative process? Based on the belief that we can all benefit from creative expression, these conversations aim to inspire people to express themselves in new ways. Hosted and produced by Signe Grauballe Mikkelsen. Episode info This episode contains an interview with artist Sofie Alsbo. She was born in Copenhagen but she moved to London in her early twenties to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art, and later at the Royal Academy of Arts. She now lives and works in Denmark. Sofie’s artistic practice focuses on montage as a form of expression, through work with sound, video, animation, collage, and print. Her works are composed as fragmented meditations that dive into the relationship between the internal and external spaces of body and mind. She asks: how are our individual experiences of reality shaped by encounters with the outside world? And: can we expand our experiences of reality through contemplation or through intense sensual focus on the present moment? Genre Podcast
