Shinami tries to Sakebi/Kire (test) by shinami published on 2012/12/05 02:01:53 +0000 Leil is recorded at F#4 (most of the time, sometimes I slip into F4 or G4 making her bad with modulation), and I decided that if I record higher notes they'd be at A#4. Glad I did that and not C5, A#4 is hard enough. I had to keep a bit quiet because it's late and my family were mad at me and couldn't do Leil's tone very well, so some of the notes sound off ("i te" doesn't even sound shouty), but probably in early afternoons/weekends I can record these without restraint. They match well I think (Or at least will better when I don't have to keep quiet), though I debate whether Leil sounds better with them or without. Regardless of the A#4s, I'll release first Leil MONO VCV with just F#4 and then later Leil DUO VCV with both pitches - no prefix map though I feel like these tones have to be specifically placed. And maybe I'll make a third pitch but I doubt it. If you're curious, the A#4s are "u te", "u ra", "a ne", "e te", "i ga", "o ba", "e bu", "i te" (the failure), "o wo", and "e ni".
