SHENZI Miami, FL SHENZI is a multi-genre quintet whose sound is an evolving reaction to elements old and new. Combining jazz roots, hip-hop, soul, and rock, the band keeps its focus on lyricism and the craft of songwriting as an essential component in telling a good story. Formed in 2016 at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, SHENZI has independently released their debut EP, “VOL. 1” and booked two East Coast tours within the past year.
