Shabuungo Ouda Ouda :Hails from the parish of St.
Thomas unto the planes of Port more, St. Catherine in Jamaica, where mother nature started taking her course in guiding this charismatic, charming and talented individual. Starting as a Dancer in the Entertainment industry with his dance group Khaki Rebels, for the great Jah B. Bunny Wailer. On a TV Program called "Where its At" the Producer of the TV show, Alphonso Walker, paved the way for the introduction. Linking up with one of the Pioneer music Producers in the Reggae music industry. With Derrick Harriott to produce & release his first single titled "Chuups" on the Crystal Record label. While working on improving his craft, he met up with two corner stone individuals, as he expressed it. Dr Andre Foote of Bigfoot Productions and Bello of Star Trail Records. They produced & released the hit single "Jah Jah Must Come" on the "Raid the Born" rhythm with Anthony B. Many more Reggae Artists were also on that same Rhythm, which was a very good opening for this ‘Chanting Reggae Chef’.
Ever since arriving in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2002, Shabuungo Ouda Ouda has kept himself busy on the reggae scene, performing on all the major Reggae shows and musical events in the city. These include GlobalFest, Afrikadey, Calgary International Reggae Festival, Taste of Jamaica, LiLac Festival and Carifest. He has been the opening Act for many major Reggae Artists such as Sizzla Kalonji, Fred Locks Asha, the late great Mikey Dread, Gyptian, and Richie Spice. Also Spanner Banner, King Ujah, Mavado, Ibo & Kinddread Band. Including Canadian Juno award winner Bianca, Joshua and the band Just. He has graced the stages of many venues in the city of Calgary, including Night Gallery, The Ship and Anchor, HiFi Night Club, Lord Nelson Pub and Dicken's Pub, just to name a few. This YaahBong Recording Artist kept his audience energized at the Reggae Festival in 2009 with his 4 year old son, Prince Oshwah and he loved every moment of it. The name Shabuungo OudaOuda is a corner stone in the Music & Food scene in the City of Calgary. That's why he is called the Chanting Chef; ‘Mr.Spice Fingah’[Fingers]. His vocals will always having you turning your head. This artist is a natural entertainer who loves to what he does with his own unique style, flavor and swaggah. Truly an Entertainer to see performing when ‘You call his name and he will answer’to represent. The Drum and the Monkey & Bambo in down town Calgary are always happening on a Tuesday night. For the past 14 years Ouda Ouda as been in action there with ‘Dub at the Pub’, where you get to see and hear Shabuungo, and I-Real, with DJ Big Al & Elijah keeping the house rocking. Ouda Ouda has been invited and re-invited many times to cities such as Vancouver, Nelson, Sunshine Coast, Red Deer, Edmonton, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina.
Ever since the opening up of YaahBong Entertainment and Productions Inc, this artist has been working hard. Voicing numbers of tracks for his company and working with many other Producers.
