Maestro is CEO of JazzyBoo Entertainment where he creates music for motion pictures, television and stage and produces artists. Joining the conversation is Larry Douglas (Larry Douglas Alltet) with a tone that the dean of American jazz critics, Leonard Feather, described as “velvety and silky," Larry Douglas has ruled as one of San Francisco's top trumpet/flugelhorn players for more than three decades. In celebration of SFLINKS@ SFJAZZ, The San Francisco Links with the help of StoryCorps, a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide Americans of all backgrounds and beliefs with the opportunity to preserve the stories of their lives, will bring together San Franciscans to record the influence and impact of Jazz in their lives. Together with StoryCorps, SF Links will celebrate these interviews and their archiving at the American Folklife Center of the Library of Congress with a Special Community Listening Reception in 2014.
