Fort Walsh National Historic Site - Parks Canada by Session 1 Digital published on 2018-09-23T15:11:14Z We set out on a field recording road trip to Carry The Kettle First Nation Saskatchewan to meet and record the resident talent for the project. Upon arrival onsite we set up in a very open room with no acoustical treatment. We had to surround the talent with acoustic treatment to get the required audio quality. We used an Avantone CV-12 condenser mic for the voice over and Sennheiser 421 for the drum. We recorded the audio with a ZOOM H6. The project was directed onsite from a Parks Canada representative and remotely via Skype from NGX Interactive producers in Vancouver. First we recorded the talent voice over tracks in English and Nakoda, secondly the Drumming was recorded. Returning back to our studio the audio recordings were imported in to Pro Tools and bounced out in .mp3 .wav format and sent to NGX Interactive producers for mixing via file share. The recordings are going to be used in the new interactive museum at Fort Walsh, Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan. https://ngxinteractive.com/portfolio/parks-canada-fort-walsh-national-historic-site/ Genre Learning
