Evan Ifekoya - Healing Exercises for Limitless Potential (H.E.L.P) by Serpentine Galleries published on 2018-08-02T10:31:34Z The GUEST, GHOST, HOST: MACHINE! 2017 Marathon brings together artists, scientists, engineers, poets, AI developers, sociologists, philosophers, filmmakers, writers, anthropologists, occultists and musicians to investigate the impact of artificial intelligence and its relationship to human development on planet Earth. Participants question the potential role of non-human intelligence under platform capitalism, the biopolitical economies of automation, the divinatory rites of machines, conscientious objection to drone warfare and other spectres that haunt our collective future. #serpentinemarathon radio.serpentinegalleries.org ‘H.E.L.P’ with Evan Ifekoya and Hannah Catherine Jones was recorded live during the GUEST, GHOST, HOST: MACHINE! Marathon at City Hall. About: Evan Ifekoya’s current work investigates the possibility of an erotic and poetic occupation using film, performative writing and sound, focused on co-authored, intimate forms of knowledge production and the radical potential of spectacle. Their ongoing project ‘A Score, A Groove, A Phantom’ explores archives of blackness, sociality and inheritance as they diffract through queer nightlife and trauma in the present moment. Ifekoya is an Art Foundation Fellow in Live Art for 2017.
