Sera Bullis The Road to Marcellus by Sera Bullis published on 2017-12-16T01:55:19Z Sera Bullis is so excited to share her first EP, The Road To Marcellus! Sera admits that when people ask where she gets her song-writing inspiration, she doesn't really have a main source. When an idea or melody strikes, she writes what inspires her at that moment, becoming consumed with the feelings and emotions she wants to convey. One of her favorites on the EP is Bus Stop. Although upbeat and pulsing, it is actually a song about struggling with bullying, self-esteem and fitting in. The character fights with emotional turmoil throughout the song as evidenced by the haunting, dark under-tones before ultimately choosing suicide. On the other hand, Nothing On Me may at first seem to be a song about a self-centered diva. This song was written to empower young girls, reminding them to be strong and confident regardless of how others may perceive them. Sera is very proud of her first EP and hopes that you enjoy her music!
