Sebastiaan Benjamin Sebastiaan Benjamin Dordrecht Sebastiaan Benjamin (Rotterdam, 28 october 1982) started his career as a songwriting artist in early 2014, because he felt the songs he had written over the years deserved an audience. His autobiographic work is inspired by the likes of Paul Simon and Neil Young, as well as more contemporary artists like Band of Horses. The folk and pop influences are clear, still his intriguing voice and lyrics create a sound not often heard. Right from the start he was a welcome guest in local music scene of his hometown Dordrecht. In October 2014 his debut single ‘Wagon Train’ was released. Live performances on national and regional radio stations in The Netherlands followed shortly. Sebastiaan Benjamin takes the listener back to the essence of his creations; a message wrapped in a beautiful harmony. This Dordrecht based artist is currently working hard to expand his territory. At the moment he is playing regularly on stages throughout The Netherlands.
