Behind these piercing blue eyes is an intensely soulful sound that pushes the boundaries of Pop to a place Scott Isbell defines as his own. A proven and passionate performer, Isbell crosses seamlessly from studio to stage to screen, leveraging social media to connect with his growing fan base.
Inspired at the age of 4 by an Elvis Impersonator, Scott set his sights on a future in music. At 12, Scott competed in USA’s Most Talented Kids. Influenced by such legends as James Brown and Michael Jackson, young Isbell was a natural on stage and his signature style began to take shape.
Singing and performing became Scott’s salvation as he channeled frustrations with learning disabilities to fuel his vocal intensity and soulful sound. Sib Hashian, the original drummer of Boston, applauded Scott’s vocal performance on the Emmy award-winning Community Auditions, exclaiming: “Dynamite – You’ve got your own style and that’s what you’ve got going for you. You’ve got a great range… I think you have a bright future ahead of you.”
That bright future included being chosen as one of fourteen talents nationally to perform in Hard Rock Café’s Under 18 Showcase in Boston. Scott Isbell’s commanding presence on stage has literally opened doors, including Scott’s opening for Lord Jamar of Brand Nubian and his work with Wu-Tang Management.
Isbell has performed at venues across the United States, including The MGM Grand, Hard Rock Cafés, Disney World, and Foxwoods Resort and Casino. An avid fan of professional wrestling, Scott performs at professional wrestling events alongside WWE superstars.
Flying solo without agencies or managers, Scott landed professional acting roles in both TV and film along the way. His acting credits include numerous roles in theater productions, TV commercials and the Emmy Award Winning kids series Aqua Kids – “a great show to be a part of – focused on saving our planet, says Scott.
Online and on the air, Isbell’s music has reached listeners around the globe, including the U.S., Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, Mexico and parts of Asia. One of Scott’s favorite radio interviews is with Radio Disney star, Savannah Outen.
Today, Scott Isbell is taking his musical ambitions to the next level, studying at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music and raising the bar by assembling an experienced team: Managers Curtis Gordon and Aja Patterson, music industry veterans; Multi-Platinum Grammy Award winning Music Producer Delroy “D-roy” Andrews; Vocal Coach Jaime Vendera praised for his vocal power and coaching methods; Choreographer Kenzie J. Illnest, member of the award-winning Phunk Phenomenon Dance Company; and Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Frankie Storm.
