Scott Ryans is a Filipino-American music Producer, Songwriter, Engineer, Mixer, and Remixer based out of North America and South East Asia. He is known for his visionary beats, organic musicianship and simple musical beds that resonate the heat and vibrancy of today’s popular sounds. His work projects an ambitious vibe- one that stimulates creative energy, craves for collaboration and leaves listeners feeling inspired, not exhausted.
Ryans established and nourished his passion for writing hits in 2003 when he began as an intern for L.A.-based record labels, Vitamin, Crosscheck, and CMH Records. He has a natural ingenuity for production and refined his craft as a studio hand under the wing of the legendary Don Lithgow.
Artistic drive and a natural aptitude for production has allowed Ryans to work in pre-production for major labels including Geffen Records, Lava Atlantic, Fearless Records and many more. As a skilled multi-instrumentalist, he often lays down his own tracks using guitar, bass guitar, keys, and drums. Scott Ryans understands music theory and the inner workings of the music industry. Each track is influenced by various genres including Pop, Rock, R&B, Club, and the occasional Remix.
Scott Ryans proudly uses Apogee, Akai, Apple, Avid Pro Tools, FXpansion Audio, Line 6, McDSP, DDrum, Roland, Alesis, and Blue Microphones. In 2011, he was part of the music technology team that took home the 2011 Intel Audio Innovation Award. Additionally, he has been honored with various music technology awards from music gear print magazines and websites. He has worked with A-list producers, artists, and engineers worldwide and has written and placed songs on various network television channels, web videos, and award-winning video games.
