Crisp, metallic claps and scintillating bleeps swarming the mind, assaulting senses. Echoing, dubbed out chords drive onwards to a looming inevitability, a realisation to dance. The title suggests resistance, but it means losing oneself and grasping the moment. As Arif dives down into the murky depths, shadowy forces pull with staccato percussion, oozing pads bubbling up from some unknown presence in the abyss. Eerie, alien strings and barking shouts phase into a series of frantic piano chords that draw the track away from dark fathoms and into the airy, breathable skies. No Going Back now. Left is the knowledge that all can reach new heights together, born from soaring iridescent strings, a unifying mellow bass groove and heavy, driven double kick. As the percussion dies, an echoing touch of what has come before. Drums are used by Cottam to summon a new, slightly asymmetric rhythm, that combined with arching pads and off-kilter claps, strengthen the original mellow groove. Shining in the pearlescent sonic voyage, ethereal squeals beckon forth the finale of the EP, a shining end to a deep sojourn through what all involved make possible with music.
