Sayo Oyama Sayo Oyama Born and raised in Sapporo, she began playing piano at the age of five, taught by her mother. In 1998, she was introduced to African American Gospel by Ron Rucker who is GMWA Japan Chapter Rep. She was one of GMWA Mass Choir’s tenor section leaders, was the musical and choir director of the 90-voice choir named OViC (One Voice in Christ). She directs 6 choirs in Sapporo, plays gospel piano and sings for God. God has blessed Sayo with musical gifts that she purposes to use for the glory of God.
