Tavishi Sarmistha Talukdar Kolkata, India / Richmond Bookings: sarmistha.talukdar@gmail.com Sarmistha is a scientist by profession and an artist at heart. She often plays electronics, Shahi Baaja, Esraj, Guitar, Keyboards, synthesizer and Indian influences in her music. She has initiated a new experimental improvisation collective called Womajich Dialyseiz for gender non-conforming, women and femme musicians. In her solo project "Tavishi" she tries to find overlaps between her different worlds. When she is not doing science, music or art, she is actively participating in movements involving various grassroots organizations.
