Saracas Lucerne Saracas is a quartet consiting of Pascal Uebelhart (sax), René J Simonpietri (keys), César Gonin (bass) and Dennis Blassnig (drums). The young musicians formed the band in 2011 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Weekly sessions gave them the chance to create, expand and develop an intimate band sound. Inspired by the world's most famous jazz quartets, the group started to compose own songs in continuation of the modern jazz styles. Their first Album 'Saracas' (2014) contains eleven original compositions, written by all of the four bandmembers. The titlesong 'Saracas' features the journey of a raven through extraordinary landscapes.
