Inquiries and booking: ryansanguine@gmail.com "Ryan 'Sanguine' Sabie is a blood-red optimist who commits to his decisions, even in the most dismal of situations, often antagonistically jesting at the situation's expense, thus earning him his handle 'Sanguine' Inside of his mind there is a trap door leading to the universe of 'The Elementalist' which acts as a portal to different dimensions, navigating time and space to even go directly to Mars in a saga spanning humanity's story both recorded and prehistoric. He will converse fluidly and fluently about these realms in his imagination if you get him started! No challenge is too daunting, no math inconceivable, Ryan seeks to master his craft and domain as composer, performer and producer for 'The Elementalist.' Planned for three volumes, 'The Elementalist' tells a convoluted hero's tale about a scientist in a future Earth ruined by climate change whom discovers a way to send himself back in time to hopefully correct the course of humanity, weaving through events throughout history. The protagonist is constantly challenged to stride ever forward, even though his actions may eventually end the world as they know it, all while exposing an alternative view of the origins of popular mythologies and even religions. Each track is inspired by the personalities of the western Zodiac and represents the crescendo of their respective chapters of the story, though Ryan maintains that the songs can be whatever you want them to be about, mean whatever you'd like them to mean to you, intentionally instrumental for the majority of songs and vague vocals only lightly alluring to the story at play for that reason. Ryan lists his major musical influencers as Nobuo Uematsu, Trent Reznor and Casey Crescenzo, with an honorable mention to the boys in Muse, as well as his father, whom bought him his guitar that started this entire adventure and Vermilion, his muse. --- "The Elementalist. It's music for bad ass motherfuckers who also like their woo-woo shit."
