"Cry You One" comes to Vermont - 3min radio spot by Sandglass Theater published on 2014-09-02T19:20:35Z Join award-winning theater ensembles Mondo Bizarro and ArtSpot Productions from New Orleans for an unforgettable look at the interconnectedness of land and culture. Part song, part story, part procession, this presentation is a powerful musical and theatrical journey about the effects of one of our country’s worst environmental disasters, the human displacement it caused, and its relevance to other communities, like southern Vermont. The show marries the spirit of New Orleans music and storytelling with the beautiful Vermont landscape and our own stories of hurricane Irene. This two week residency will feature a host of events including a gumbo supper, a rare screening of the documentary film "My Lousiana Love", an evening of Cajun music, dancing, and beignets AND two unforgettable theater performances, in fields and forest, on-site, in southern Vermont. Proudly presented by Sandglass Theater andVermont Performance Lab Part of Sandglass Theater's Voices of Community series.
