Samuel Ferrari is a composer for film, TV and adverts. Based in Sao Paulo, he has produced music for many high profiles adverts and feature films, as well as documentaries such as "SENNA: Beyond the Speed of Sound". He has recently finished working as additional composer, score assistant and orchestrator for the film THE HOST, directed by Andrew Niccol (Lord of War), based on Sephenie Meyer's (Twilight Saga) novel.
In 2005, Samuel began his studies at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Still at the university, he began his career working on students short films and recording with the university's orchestra. In 2009, Samuel joined Ambulante/Supersonica studio working with Antonio Pinto (City of God) and Beto Villares (XINGU) on several projects as additional composer, score assistant and co-producer, and producing his own works.
He worked on cinema productions like "Senna", "VIPs", "How I Spent My Summer Vacations", "XINGU", "SNITCH", "The Odyssey", the international animation "Clara In Foodland 2nd Season" by Discovery Kids, the english documentary "Inside Out" and HBO series Witness, produced by Michael Mann.
In the advertising world, Samuel worked with several clients like Cannon, Nike, Coca Cola, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Microsoft, Orloff, Clight, Johnson & Johnson, Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), Eudora, Desperados, Pilao, Renner, Riachuelo, Natura, CPFL, O2 Filmes, Net/Claro/Embratel, Garnier, Uniao, Nivea, Glamour Magazine, Nova Magazine, Elma Chips, Honda, Petrobras and many others.
