Juro Kim Feliz Juro Kim Feliz Toronto Juro Kim Feliz, composer. Juro Kim Feliz (b. 1987, Philippines) is a composer currently based in Toronto, Canada. He had his first musical exposure through piano lessons from his mother at an early age, with formal piano studies beginning many years later under Minda Amoranto and Avelina Manalo. Interested in composing music, he studied with composers Jonas Baes and Melissa Hui, along with other mentors including composers Liza Lim, Dieter Mack, Chong Kee Yong, Anothai Nitibhon, Bernd Asmus and Linda Catlin Smith through various consultations. He received the Goethe South East Asian Young Composer Award (1st place) in 2009 and landed as finalist in the Music Biennale Zagreb: 5-Minute Piano Concerto Competition 2017. His work "Gandingan sa Kagiliran" is commercially released in the "Millennial Masters Vol. 7" album of Ablaze Records, and his music has been performed in festivals and concerts in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel, Greece, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.
