Dance music has been in Rynaldo's blood since the late 70's. It all started with being 16 and playing on friends parties and starting a drive in disco show. As time progressed, DJ'ing became a second life, starting to do radio shows and live gigs on a more professional base. Now in his mid-life crisis :-) more and more time is spend on producing for others as well as creating mix sets, remixes and re-edits. Live DJ sets are occasionally possible, but as normal live and career takes up much of the time, only on special request or very special outdoor gigs.
Come by often to check out my most recent mixes, posted here for you to download free. My goal is to post up 2 to 4 mixes per month, staying directly in line with what's hot, and current in the Trance, Progressive House and Dance cultures. Each mix is approximately 60 to 120 minutes in length. Cool for iPod traveling or in the car.
As DJ'ing has always been a technical innovation driven art, in 2009 I took a drastic decision to abandon all my CD's and vinyl's and restart fully digital/midi driven. As I already had made the transfer from pure vinyl (in my starting days there was nothing else) to cd's, this is the next evolving step. I had a company digitized all my material, ending up with a huge 3,5 TB digital collection spanning more than 20 years of DJ'ing. I am now stretching iTunes to the max  and had to buy a high performance network drive set to manage it all. Luckily, computer technology progresses each day, and performance is really cool (fast and workable).
So, leaving the old days behind, and now acting anonymous again, I am learning all the new tricks of the digital midi age.

- The APC40 is a wonder piece of equipment for Ableton;
- The new Pio CDJ-2000 will be my new bridging technology equipment leaving CD’s behind.
