SLO County Undocu Support Aids Undocumented Immigrants by Ruth Ann Angus

SLO County Undocu Support formed during the pandemic to aid undocumented immigrants continues with collaboration with many organizations to answer to the needs of the undocumented population on the Central Coast of California. It is of special note during the month of June which is National Immigrant Heritage Month in the United States. Over 9000 undocumented individuals live and work in San Luis Obispo, California county this group strives to bring together under one umbrella coalition building to influence policy on the issues these immigrants face. Through Community Services Workshops and with the upcoming Research Hub Undocu Support pulls together the organizations supplying guidance and aid with the undocumented community.
