Clement discusses her decades of involvement with the Presbyterian Church, where she advocated for more leadership roles for women and became of the of the first female deacons and elders in the church. Clement briefly touches on her time as a missionary in Everett, Ky.--deep in the heart of coal-mining country--where she attended a church with a congregation that handled snakes.
