Rubin Kates and the Revival Rubin Kates Aurora A singer-songwriter who writes lyrically driven acoustic guitar- based roots music, Rubin is rather seasoned chronologically for a new artist and likens himself to a vintage wine or a fine slab of mutton. His debut album Vivian Road by Rubin Kates and the Revival came out in October 2019, and features mostly original material written by Rubin. He is privileged to have some great musicians including Todd Porter, Jenna Gallagher and the incredible Jerome Godboo contribute to this album. For 2020 he has written several new songs and will be releasing them on his upcoming album Twilight Tales. He welcomes Manny Degrandis on bass and Chris James on electric guitar for this album as well as Todd on drums and Jenna on violins and backing vocals.
