rosefroze Rose Froze Seattle Producer, and artist Rose Froze grew up in a warped, wavering world of art, culture and expression. Making music since she could walk, Rose spent her young childhood attending Burning Man surrounded by drugged-up art-raver-scientists in a post apocalyptic desert setting. Rose spent many a first-week-of-school doing homework in her tent before venturing out onto the playa to participate in and witness the beauty of expression. Beating on drums in hippy drum circles, watching musical performers play on dusty audio equipment, then forcibly flip-flopping to classical piano, choir, vocal lessons, and even playing the clarinet in the band, all of which were childhood experiences, however unconventional and off-kilter, that have highly influenced Rose's desire and passion to produce and spread art and music. When Rose moved to the mountains in which upwards of twenty feet of snow fell, she fell into the metal and punk rock scenes. Rusty guitar strings, secondhand drum sets with purposefully modified cymbals, screeching sounds of the north and graffiti sprayed studio walls provided an interesting series of experiences. Rose embraces technology citing software, hardware, and devices as high-influence tools. Rose's sound has classical and symphonic compositional elements, as well as dance influence- she doesn't shy away from experimentation. She possesses an apparent dichotomy in terms of sound design: on one hand, she enjoys making moody symphonic pieces, which, at the core, are structurally minimal and emanate from her classical training. On the other hand, she loves producing dance music tracks that focus on the immersion of newly blossoming genres and sounds to reflect progression.
