Here is part 2, following 'w/you'. This one is a bit more gritty, higher energy, and touches on more peak time sounds.

Take note that not every mix is in key, and not every mix has to be. It is possible to put tracks with similar 'sounds' and feel, side by side in the mix without them being keyed. You just have to know your music library - what would work and what won't. This can also create an interesting shift of energy and vibe on the dancefloor, if done right. Try it at your next gig.

It's an amazing feeling when you get in the zone..everything flowing gracefully and naturally. You become one with the music, the equipment, the crowd - feeding off of it feeding off of you...and vice versa. It's in these moments I notice myself taking the most risks when selecting tracks because the frequency everything is operating on in that moment - everything just works.
