Rootian Honest Allies. Spain. Mexico City Rootian is the name behind Luis Cobos Palenzuela, a music selector and Psychologist from Spain, now based in México City. Both name and root were taken from an eclectic style swinging between moods and genres, nourished from the places where he has crossed through the path of his life, living in the Netherlands, UK, Spain and now México. Without holding onto a single style, his music brings electro and layers of Wave, the vibrant of acid, the psychedelic part of late 90's trance tracks and the cosmic slide of 80's Italian music, the energy of EBM and sometimes the expansion of ambient, all mixed with folkloric sounds, flavoured with percussive/strong bass-lines and organic vocals/instruments. He loves to extend his sets moving through down to up tempo electronics. He shares the partnership @honestallies with their long-term-friends @fuentesguerra and @Lebollet both from Córdoba, Spain where they merge artistic expressions from different disciplines as performance, installations, symbolic spaces and concepts. "Lucho" for friends, is Booker, promoter and DJ resident of some artistic-collaborative projects like "@LaPartyProject", "@Disevamx" where representative artists from the Spanish and Mexican scene were invited.
